AECAI is an Advisor Labs publication. This policy explains the limited information we collect through aecaiconsulting.com and how we use it.

Information you provide

If you subscribe to the AECAI Briefing, we collect the email address you submit and the page where the signup occurred. If you contact us, we receive the information included in your message.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics to understand aggregate site traffic, newsletter signup activity, and visits to Advisor Labs. Plausible is a privacy-focused analytics service that does not use cookies. We do not use advertising trackers on this site.

Session replay and website analytics

We use a first party session replay tool to understand how visitors use our website. It records page views, clicks, scrolling, mouse movement, and general interaction patterns, along with your browser type and approximate location (country and region). Anything you type into forms is masked in your browser before any data is sent, and we do not capture passwords, form values, keystrokes, or the contents of embedded frames. This data is stored securely with our hosting provider in the United States, is never shared with or sold to third parties, and is deleted automatically after 180 days. We use it to improve site usability and, when you submit a newsletter form, to understand which pages you visited before subscribing. To request deletion of this data, contact us using the information below.

How we use information

We use submitted information to operate the newsletter, respond to requests, measure publication performance, prevent abuse, maintain security, and improve the site. We do not sell personal information.

Service providers

Cloudflare hosts the site and stores early newsletter signups. Plausible provides aggregate analytics. We may move newsletter records to Resend when email delivery is activated. These providers process information to deliver their contracted services.

Retention

Newsletter records are kept while you remain subscribed. If you unsubscribe, we remove your address from active sending and retain only what is needed to honor the unsubscribe.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email. You can request access to or deletion of your information by writing to editor@aecaiconsulting.com.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the effective date above and note the change in the newsletter.
